Three Rules that Changed My Life

WARNING: Incorporating these habits into your everyday life will have you feeling and looking amazing. Be prepared to receive a ton of compliments.

You finally have the bikini that you've been searching long and far for. Now that you have it, not only do you want to rock it, but you want to feel your best! Here are small changes you can make for your health that will make a huge difference.

1. First and foremost, nutrition!

This is not the part where I tell you to start counting calories and start planning all your meals. I have been there and for me, it wasn't something I could do long term. I fully believe in sticking to a whole food eating plan with trying to include greens with every meal.

Why? When you eat foods in the whole form you are more satisfied and will be full throughout the day. 

2. Second, find something that you enjoy doing, whether it's riding your bike, taking that yoga class, kickboxing, or dance classes. Keep it interesting!

My favorites right now are barre and sculpting yoga classes with my own HITT (high-intensity interval training) circuits at home.

*If classes or any of those things I mentioned above isn't your cup of tea and you need some accountability, sign up for a workout challenge with a friend. There are a ton of online workout challenges that you can sign up for. Some are even free! My favorite is from Tone It Up and Blogilates on YouTube!

3. Lastly, take a deep breath and get excited!

You decided to change your life and become a happier and healthier you. Don't give these steps an all or nothing approach. On occasion, go out and have some wine with friends, have dessert when you absolutely crave it and maybe you do have to skip a workout one day. It's important that you brush it off and keep going! Your body will thank you :)
